2011 began with a wedding on January 1st and ended with another on December 30th for me. Luke and Leta had a wonderfully elegant wedding in the Old Red Courthouse.  Apparently the whole thing screamed black and white – as you’ll notice with most of my favorites below.  You may recognize her sister, Maegan, from her wedding in June of this year. I love getting to watch brides “grow up” from being the fiance’s to the old pro’s giving sage advice to brides to come. Happy New Year to all of you!

You may remember Marty & Jessica’s incredible engagement session from last fall.  We met up again for another session as they wrap up their first year of marriage.  They were awesome, as usual, and put up with all of my crazy ideas resulting in some pretty fantastic images.  Grab somebody to cuddle and check ‘em out.

I had the absolute pleasure of documenting a proposal tonight.  I am completely tickled that I managed to stay completely out of Karen’s sight until Sonny pointed me out to her – mission accomplished!  I feel honored to have been involved in such an intimate moment that these two will remember forever…

So the day after Nathan + Meghan’s incredible session,  I got my feet wet with another amazing couple.  Sam and Kayce were incredible and up for anything I had in mind.  They also brought a few pretty awesome ideas of their own to the table…  Be on the lookout for their wedding next month – I’m pretty sure it’s going to be incredible.

Meghan’s wedding is fast approaching!  In fact, the day we did this session was exactly four weeks prior to the big day.  I couldn’t be more excited…  We shot this bridal session on her parent’s land, where the ceremony and reception are going to be held.  It’s going to be incredible!  Meghan and Nathan chose to have a sweet “first look” at this session so that we could spend some extended time getting really gorgeous images of the two of them before the craziness of the wedding day.  I think it was well worth it for what we captured, and something tells me that Nathan will still have butterflies just before his bride walks down the aisle towards her new life with him…

I love getting to spend my evenings hanging out with a couple of lovebirds.  These two were a delight to follow around town.  Doesn’t Laura’s hair make you wish you were a redhead?

I really don’t understand how these weddings keep getting progressively more and more awesome, but they do.  I am blessed beyond measure with the coolest couples on earth.  Stiles and Lauren had a backyard wedding that was just to die for.  You might want to grab a cup of coffee (and maybe some tissues) to sit back and savor all of the delicious details from this one…

Ask me how excited I am about this wedding in November… I dare you.
