Ever since I left Brian & Mandy’s wedding on Saturday, I’ve been anxious to get these sneaks up on the blog. There were so many beautifully planned details, it was a photographer’s dream! And though this post is MUCH longer than my average sneak, it only scratches the surface of my favorites… but I couldn’t wait any longer. So without further hesitation, I present you with the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Cave.
I think I complimented the florist three times. I adored her bouquet and all of the floral accents in the decor. It was somehow elegant and woodsy and romantic all at the same time. See Mandy’s ring? It was custom designed based on a passage from Revelation describing the gates of heaven.

I love getting to be a fly on the wall while everyone’s busy getting ready for the ceremony. The anticipation is palpable and the excitement just keeps building.

Typewriters, pinecones, vintage suitcases, antique postcards, and old books… Mandy is a genius. An absolute genius.

Their reception was a serious party. There was so much joy in the room, it was hard not to smile. As you can see, the dance floor was put to good use…

I can’t quite put my finger on why I loved Mandy’s cake so much, but I thought it was unique and beautiful! The centers of those flowers are buttons… made of frosting… and it’s sitting on a suitcase… did I mention that Mandy is brilliant?

And kudos to Mandy and her father for making me tear up behind the lens.

Happy New Year, Mr. & Mrs. Cave!
